Hi,
I've reinstalled MSDE on my computer because I was having some trouble connecting to the server whenever I used an ip address as the data source.
So, after reinstalling MSDE, I am unable to start sql server. Here's the error message I'm getting in the event log:
17120 :
SQL Server could not spawn FRunCM thread.
And also...
Error: 17826, Severity: 18, State: 1
Could not set up Net-Library 'SSNETLIB'.
I googled them and came up with two knowledge base articles... one of which seems to relate to my original problem with msde. I think it might be related to the fact that I have SP2 installed.

Any help is appreciated. I'm going to try to download the service pack and see if that helps.
