Anyone know what engine that BF2 will use? OGL or DX9?

Most likely DX9, but I'm hoping on OpenGL.

What are the requirements for the game -- or rather, what is it reported to run well on?

No official word on requirements, rumors say "a little more than you need for BFV".

BAH! BF:V was the one of the most unoptimized/choppy games I've ever played. Whoever coded that game should be shot. The original BF1942 ran so much better.:)

I hope the developers who made DC whip the lazy ones who made BF:V into shape!;)

Totally agree, luckily the makers of BF42 and not BFV are making BF2. Of course if you look at BF42 version 1.0 it didn't run that well either. It took several patches to make it the awesome game it is today.

Maybe the BFV developers will go work for the Duke Nukem series :p
