Connecting an Xbox to DVD Speakers

Hey everyone, I got a bit of a question for yall.
I am getting an xbox in a few days and I want some SIK sound (who doesn't).

I've got a TEAC MCDV100

And was wondering if there was any way that I could connect my xbox to the DVD player somehow, so that the speakers from the DVD player will gimme sound from the box..anyone?

What type of inputs does it have? (That PDF does not say...)

Most probably you will need RCA (Red and White plugs) cables, I can't be a hundred percent sure cause it doesn't say, but they are the most common for this app.

If you get the "High Def" pack you can use optical out...

The DVD player has an Optical out and SCART out..
The xbox came with a scart thing but it doesnt seem to work when i use it..
