Hello. I was wondering if there were any good headphones out there ~$30 that I could get my friend for X-Mas and that he could get me. Doesn't have to be super dooper and hear every pindrop. I'd like something to replace my Klipsch Ultra at night because of all the complaints when I come home from work and want to listen to some music or play Battlefield 1942. (BUT IT'S ONLY ON 5!! :p ) Anyway what would you recommend I look at?

...I honestly can' imagine better headphones than some Kinyo units what are sold at Newegg (although I bought mine quite a while ago). They have bass-shakers in them...which totally rocks! It was completely unexpected how much they enhance the experience...I figured they would just be kitschy...but in truth I vastly prefer them to my big-buck Sennheisers.

lots of people on headfi seem to think the koss ksc 35's/75's are GREAT and they are only 20 dollars. I asked for some 75's for christmas. I think one guy thought they sounded better than the grado sr60's. They are supposed to be pretty dang good for the price, and even better with an amp. Check them out at koss's website.

Not sure if you are interested in that type of headphone though..

I like the Plantronics Audio 90 for my PC. Has a mike, a volume dial and a mute. Very slick and about $29 or less I believe.

I use it lots for MP3's as well as gaming. Works well for me. Might be worth a look. :)

Well, as long as they aren't earbuds it doesn't matter what type they are as long as they are comfortable. Anyone know how the senn's px series are?

Radioshack sells their $40 headphones for $20 during the holidays. Go there and look for their Titanium Diaphram headphones.
