Well yeah, I don't think I'm going to order the EMU modded and the cables from Zemo anymore...it's just way to much money right now and I don't think my setup will even do it justice. I think I'm going to go for a M-Audio Revo card. Heard it has great SQ, better than an Audigy 2 and nice drivers also. Plus it's alot cheaper! Question is -- which of the Revo cards? 7.1 or 5.1? I know the 7.1 card has been out much much longer than the 5.1 card and it has earned it's respect in the computer audio industry but how is the 5.1? I heard th 5.1 has better quality for music which is all I will use the cards for -- 100% music. Also, I heard there is an headphone amp built in? I don't know if this is true, and I kind of doubt it but that would be great if it can also boost my Senn's performance. How are the drivers? I know the 5.1 card is fairly new so are there any problems/slowdowns that are known when you first install the drivers? I'm guessing the 7.1 should have absolutely no problems like my TB card since it's been out for a decent amount of time with the driver updates. I hope you guys will tell me the 5.1 card is better because than I can save about 30 bucks from buying the more expensive 7.1. Or should I just go the safe route and get the acclamined Revo 7.1? Ohhhh the confusion!!

I tend to like 5.1. Most things are coded for that and it's probably the most compatible. :)

5.1. I've listened to different 5.1 and 7.1 setups, and I would rather
1) Get a nice 5.1 setup or
2) Get some nice phones
