Im wanting to build a HTPC. it will mainly be running MythTV, would a ITX board with the VIA chipset work for this type of thing? it wont be HD, at least not to start with if that matters.

So if this is a long term goal, you may want to look elsewhere. However, there are P-m ITX solutions that may be able to cut it - maybe. Whatever the case, for normal HTPC tasks the higher power Via ITX systems would be fine. SharkyExtreme.com
