Could I put a turion MT in my Compaq V2311US laptop, which is part of the V2000Z series. It has an ML-28 right now and it is my understanding that the MTs have lower battery consumption.

Vengance_01 11-25-2005, 01:23 PM not much, I think ML is 35 watts and MT's are 25 Watts. hhenryks 11-25-2005, 03:05 PM Other than the fact that my battery has lost a significant amount of its charge somehow, I love it. Great screen (make sure you get the glossy type) and performance is good for light light gaming and everyday things. It doesn't weigh much (I had the R3000 series before which was to big to travel with for basketball) and looks good too. You can't go wrong unless you play alot of games. ua549 11-25-2005, 03:15 PM Most notebook chips are soldered to a system board.
