Ram installation.

Ive never installed ram into a laptop before but I will be within a month or so. I ve done it plenty of times in a desktop. Are there any guides out there on how to do it and the tools required?

For the vast majority of laptops, it's a piece of cake -- even easier than in a desktop machine. Pop off the memory access cover (usually one screw holds it on), insert DIMM, replace cover.

If you were to post the make and model of your laptop, someone could probably confirm whether this is the case for your particular machine.
