guys, whats the absolutely smallest windows XP device with a USB 2.0 port on the market? It doesnt even have to be a traditional laptop, just something that will run XP thats as small as possible.

Probably the OQO:

Or the Toshiba Libretto. (http://www.toshibadirect.com/td/b2c/cfam.to?seg=HHO&coid=-29330&sel=0&rcid=-26367&ccid=1291021&src=AMEM&cm_mmc=google_SEM-_-brand-_-promo-_-libretto)

Be warned that smaller is better only to a point. Once you get smaller than, say, a 10" screen, useability becomes an issue.

Is that the one with the Transmeta(?)?

I would think so, or something similar anyway. Original poster was asking for the smallest XP device with USB without other considerations which is probably the OQO. Personally I wouldn't go below a 10.6 inch chassis which is what I'm using right now - very small but I can still type at speed on it.

I tried typing on one of those, it sucked.

I think the dell 700m is a pretty decent laptop and its really pretty small.

Yep, the U100 is an impressive laptop but the keys are just too small to type on properly, couldn't do it at all. I think some sort of clever folding design could have perhaps saved the U100, it was daft to release it in its current state.

Sony's 10.6 inch keyboards are good to type on, despite being smaller than the 700m's keyboard.

Re: the sony keyboards, it's quite true. Just got a TX series for X-mas, and it's great to type on. They're not as small as the OQO, but they're a great computer if you're looking for small.
