actually it reminds me a lot like impossible creatures...it was a lot more limited in what you could do but it was a great idea...

wow, i never heard of spore till like 2 days ago and after watching the video i'm totally amazed. i cant wait for this thing. it's pure genius :D

Man, someone is sooooo going to turn this into some MMO game.
Imagine, going to other worlds obliterate them, or form a Federation and gang up on Borgs or something.

They SOOOOOOO should add that.

it would be so hard to do that. i mean, the game would be horribly unbalanced. just imagine if every time you advance so you can leave the ocean, some spaceship comes and drops a nuke on your world...

That's true.
But how does current MMO's overcome that barrier?

I have never played MMO so I don't know this:
Do level 60s go around killing everything? Or is there a filter or permission system?

i think most mmos have zones where you are safe. also some dont allow p vs. p
