My Burner Problems

A year ago this month, I bought the NEC 3520A DVD burner. Up until about a week ago I never had a problem. Now everytime I put a disc in (either CD or DVD) it doesn't spin up and I hear a clicking sound. When I try to burn I get an error from windows saying there's no disc in the drive. Nothing has changed software wise. I uninstalled it from my device manager & re-booted but that didn't change anything. Anybody have any suggestions?

I really do think that something inside of that drive is busted.
