Hey folks, its been awhile since I posted any new MODS. I am happy to spread the word on a new project that Me and my Nephew will be working on. Its not going to be a "Full Blown Gone Nuts" type of Mod. We will be working on a Side Panel Window, Top Blow Hole, Lights, Wiring and mebbe a few other small details. I will post our progress here but be advised it might be a few weeks between Updates cause of our schedules.
First a little History. My Nephew (Big Joe) just celebrated his 17th B-Day and instead of giving him a gift card I decided to let him select his own gift. We discussed things and I am happy to state he decided on a Computer Case and Modding it with his Uncle. We sat down and went shopping at NewEgg and discussed what kind of Mods he might be interested in doing. I was leaning towards the Lian-Li PC60 Model but then we happened across this Sweet CASE. It has finally arrived and in good shape.
Nice Box corners looked dented a little.

Out of the box, and no damage. She was well packed.

Left Side Panel off and right off the bat I noticed the clips for the rear fan. Not a bad touch but one had popped off. These will most likely be run behind the Mobo anyway. I like the front panel connectors, they are USB & Fire Wire ready. No individual pins for them. The hard drive cage doesn't look removable but the good news is the Right Side Panel is, which makes for easy modding.

To me the removal of the Front Panel is what makes the case. This panel removed very easily and with the right side off you push in clips and she pops right off. Note how the cables aren't connected to front panel which makes this case a damn good case.

Anyway as you can tell we are going to have some fun. The Mesh on the left side panel can be replaced with a window but I have a feeling there is going to be a much bigger window there to show off his lighting theme. What he has in mind I am not sure but I asked him to come up with a nice little theme and to bring his wallet with him.. LOL Will keep you apprised of future updates..
