Hi all! Is anyone stoked about this game? Just a month or so and it's in our hot little hands! I'm a huge R6 fan and this one looks fun. I visit Vegas about every few years, so it will be fun to wreak havoc in that city R6 style.

Im stoked too. To be honest, I don't know how they nailed it. But I always wanted to know what it looks like to rappel down the side of a Casino in vegas.

I just pray this isn't as horrible as Lockdown.
LV - You didn't like Raven Shield? YOU ARE INSANE, SIR!

I wouldn't worry about it. There is an excellent gameplay video, very lengthy and very detailed. Check it out and your fears will be allayed.
You'll be wanting the E3 2k6 Demo Walkthrough. Amazing stuff.

Ubisoft apparently realised it would take much more than a trailer to bring back Rainbow Six to its former glory. ;)

Nice trailer, thanks for posting that! Gadzooks, it looks they they ARE on the right path here. I didn't think Lockdown was horrid, but it didn't even come close to classic R6. Raven Shield though, that was amazing. This trailer gives me hope!

I didn't think the later ones were horrid, but they were certainly not up to snuff when compared to the earlier ones, that's for sure. This looks better, but we'll have to wait and see.

It sure would! I've lost enough money there, I'd like a little vengeance! Gads, can you imagine all the shattered neon? I hope the environments are majorly destructable.

According to Major Nelson, there will be a playable demo with the next XBox Magazine and it will be on the marketplace early next month. No word of the PC version getting a demo yet :-X
hmm..I'm waiting for this and the new Splinter Cell. Hopefully there's a SC demo soon!

Hooray for Major Nelson! Good news! I'd like to try both a CP and a 360 version, so I also hope for a PC demo. But at least there is confirmation of the 360 demo conming soon. Sweet!

is this new R6 game going to suck like, say, everything after rogue spear?
all the games in the last few years have basically been counterstrike clones.
this one seems to be going in the right direction, have you seen some of the videos for it?

I agree, this one looks great to me. I have high hopes for this one for sure.

Oh man, how could I forget about R6?? This one goes down on the list for sure.
This is going to be one damn fun fall/winter gaming season. I'm already eagerly awaiting about 10 or so "release day purchase" games just by the end of the year...and just for the PC to boot.

Man you are going to spend atleast $400. I think I am also going to get this on release. I after lockdown (which I didnt buy) I started going through withdraw syptoms and then when GRAW came out, I started having cold sweats and bad dreams. I was so close to buying GRAW then I heard about Vegas.

Almost a month to go before you'll get relief from your withdrawel symptoms. It's gonna be a tough month! Waiting and then 5 great games releasing at once. How am I gonna play them all? Well, I'll give it the 'ol college try ;-) This game is my priority though.

Anyone know the PC min specs?
someone asked this in the main games forum, and the consensus seemed to be that it would be similar to the min. specs for the new Splinter Cell: Double Agent game, which are quite hefty.

Or you can already grab the swanky looking Xbox 360 version.

R6: Vegas for the 360 doesn't release until the 20th, actually. Or are you talking about the demo as opposed to the full release version?

Apologies. :) I mean 'just' not 'already'.
You tend to rush stuff when you have a 360 loading Graw in your living room. :D

I Understand! :-) I'm a huge GR fan and still play GRAW.
