been testing the 8600 series and quadro fx series based off the g80 in hp laptops for the past few months now...very fast and for the most part stable and relatively bug free :)

sorry for the late reply but if I was in the market I would...however these machines will go for $3k+ easily

I would think so...if you're an engineer/auto cad/3d modeling person on the go and need to take your work with you then they're great systems for that...if you do all those things but the system only stays in one place then a desktop workstation would work a bit better for probably less money
