I have a older compaq v2666 lap top and can not for the life of me find the paperwork to determine how much memory it will take. all I know is it is pc2100 and there is 2 sticks of 256mg onboard..if anyone knows the answer please give a shout....

Go to a site such as www.crucial.com to get the answers and recommended memory configurations. Most older notebooks were limited to 2GB.
