Sony 17" laptops are almost as expensive as MacBook Pros, just to give you an idea of the price. The video card is likely to be a 7600 or 8400 (don't see it mentioned) buy you could probably just flip it on ebay for 1200+ if you don't like it.

Convince me to buy it. Why do I need to spring 650 just so I can play Crysis at Starbucks?

I really would like it but I think I would be better served updating my desktop. If it came with the disks for Vista and I really wanted to jump on that platform I would be sold.

I wonder why the guy is selling it for half off? The nearest matches I can find on eBay and Best Buy are going for 1200 to 1500 bucks.
