Hey Alex, I don't know if you can fix this, but I used to refresh the screen to see new topics, or to get extra responses if I was inside of a tread. Now, refreshing the screen takes me to the main topics page. It's just a little annoying, that's all. Otherwise, I love all the new features! http://63.146.109.206/ubb/smile.gif
I am using Internet Explorer 5.50.4134.0600. Thanks.

Hi there,
Sorry you're having difficulty... I'm not quite sure what you mean though? Sorry it's Friday night and I'm a little light on the brain cells tonight http://63.146.109.206/ubb/smile.gif Help me out here and try that again.
Sorry and thanx!

you're going to http://www.sharkyforums.com/Ultimate.html
correct?
try going to
http://www.sharkyforums.com/cgi-bin/ubb/Ultimate.cgi
and it should work (you'll be out of the frameset)
eventually going to http://www.sharkyforums.com/
will hopefully not exhibit this issue (I think, it's in Alex's hands http://63.146.109.206/ubb/smile.gif

Sorry, I figured this might sound vague.
Basically, I'm trying to update the screen, because as people post new additions to different posts, they won't show up until the web browser had a chance to refresh. In the old forums, I could click the refresh button on top, and I would be able to see changes to the message since last I looked. On these forums, pressing the refresh button takes me back to the main topic page.
In other words, say you post a new message or respond to an existing message. You keep your web browser open while you do some work, or look at other pages in another browser window. Eventually, you would like to see if anybody responded to your message, so you hit the refresh button to bring up any changes. If instead the refresh button takes you back to the main page, it is frustrating because you have to navigate back to your message, which may be a few links deep.
It's not a big deal, especially if it requires a huge rewrite of code. But, if it's something simple, I prefered the old way of updating the messages. Thanks for responding to my request, Alex.

Hey, thanks, TheContact. Your link works great. I didn't see your message when I posted mine. Everything works now, though. By the way, I love the Xenogears reference.

Luckily Gautum let me know the drill. I understand now... once the forum goes live on Saturday the change will be made and you won't have that issue. In the meantime use the URLs he mentioned.
Cheers

OK Arcadian,
You should be set now... just try using the www.sharkyforums.com (http://www.sharkyforums.com) link and you'll be set.. no more frames.
