Hey guys,

I'm a CADD user, Photoshopper, and only occasional gamer - and I figured at age 27, I'd bring my ancient self here to ask a question. I'm looking for a mainboard for an AMD-based system and the two I am seriously considering are by Asus and MSI. I've heard tons about Asus' quality but I also have heard they had to re-release one of their boards because of stability/compatility problems... true? I like the MSI because I've heard it's rock solid, plus it'll save some bucks.

I'll run a 1.33 or 1.4 GHz chip, at least 512 MB DDR RAM (hopefully more), and would like to have four EIDE controllers on the board, if possible. I don't know a lot about the specific models, so...

Just wondering. Thanks! http://www.sharkyforums.com/ubb/cool.gif

What's the Epox got that MSI and Asus haven't? Haven't heard too much about them... are they stable, etc?
