PCI128 problems

I have a sound blaster PCI128. Their is beeps and other background sounds when I play MP3s. I have tried new drivers and moving the card to other slots. Anyone have any ideas?

If the card is fine for games and such, your mp3 software might be to blame. Try unistalling and reinstalling whatever prog. you use (i.e. Winamp). If that doesn't work, try a different program. Maybe a default setting somewhere is throwing it off.
