SB Live! X-Gamer & FPS2000 Digital

This is what I have comming to me in the mail, nothing different, I cant order anything else. Is this a good mix of speakers and soundcard? How is the sound quality?

Well I've got the FPS2000's with my SB Live value and they rock. I only have analog out, so when you hook up the digital, it will only sound better.
I really like the sound of the bass on these, very tight. You'll love the volume/balance/power control being anywhere you want it too!

That's the exact setup I've been using for about 6 months now and I have no complaints. I have mine hooked up to the analog outputs because the digital connector on the speakers is different than the output on the X-Gamer! Hopefully they've included the appropriate adapter so you can use the digital out.

I just got my FPS2000 yesterday. I also have the X Gamer card. The set I got came with an adapter for the digital/speaker hook up.

They sound great. Be sure and go to your "start/programs/creative/ Surround Example" and listen to the effects...they are interesting.
