Hey guys just a few quick questions for y'all. I currently have WIN98 on one pc. My new pc I'm building will either have 98SE or ME. Is it possible for me to network WIN98 and WIN98SE or WINME together or do the operating systems have to be the same? And will WIN98 work at all in this network? If it matters, I'm using Diamonds Home Free setup.

Thanks.

Will work fine. I even connect two Mac users onto our lan at lan parties. But the Macs do limit us to what games we can use, due to availability of titles for the macs...

It should be the same for all of them. Only thing you will run into is that Winme will refuse to read network shares without a password (MS is doing this to increase security because windows networks is friggin insecure). There is a registry fix on the winme CD in the \tools\... something directory, I can't remember where exactly but its not to hard to find.
