Theres a company that was working on a add on that would go in to your slr cameras. It would fill in the film area and you would then have a didital camera. Of course it was going to be released any day now. Thats been like a year and half now. I think what you are talking about are "digital backs" for SLR cameras. And they're freakin' expensive. There is another post here 'bout digial SLR cameras. You might want to check it out.
