I have a Palm 3xe right now and I'm pretty happy with it. However, I have an opportunity to sell it, and an unopened Vx for quite a profit in Europe as Palms there go for about 50% more(at least in Poland, my destination country).

Now, I'm selling the Vx for sure, and that could just leave me with the 3xe. Or I could sell both and end up with about 450-500 dollars. Perhaps put that money towards a PocketPC? When I started some research, I found a rumour that the new version of WinCE (Merlin?) won't support anything but the Intel StrongARM processor, availible only on the iPAQ, as far as I can tell. Should this be a consideration when I'm buying? I definatly want a colour screen, and compact flash support, so that eliminates the H3100. Is it worth it for me to pay up outside of my budget range and get the H3650? or H3635?

Right now only the ipaq and the amiga can be updated to merlin, but I would hold off as Microsoft will anounce merlin on the 6th, and compaq will anounce un updated ipaq shortly thereafter, then you can deside whether you want a standard one or to go with the new one (based on price and features)
