I love my minidiscs but I have to say its dead in the States. If you live outside the states long live minidiscs. I was looking around and I stumbled across this its called expanium and it uses 8cm cds. They can hold about 3hours of mp3s (185megs). The player is small. Can't wait till it comes out in the states. Just hope it doesn't turn out to be a lemon like most of the other mp3 players.

That looks pretty cool.. If I didn't have a car mp3 player I'd seriously look at that..

Good thing you bumped it. You know how fast topics are pushed off the first page here, Duo. http://www.sharkyforums.com/ubb/wink.gif

if only it supported id3 tags. http://www.sharkyforums.com/ubb/frown.gif
without those going through mp3s is a nightmare.

ID3Tags allow you too add more detail to an mp3 file, such as the Artist's name, song title, album title, and year released etc.
Without ID3tag reading you may get just the name of the file or just a song number.
On my first cd based mp3 player it would only display the song number. So on a Cd-R with 150+ songs it was quite hard to figure out what you were listening to.

Yeah, well, there have been loads of great MP3 CD players promised and so few delivered. Most suck. I have a RioVolt and it skips and has a god-aweful display. My roomie has a TDK Mojo and its nav features blow, he had to RMA it twice, and it's not flash upgradable. It's all about performance, ladies. Let's see if it can keep up.
