Try to contact Mr. Silver directly (ICQ, e-mail, whatever he has listed), he seems to be the most well versed in Cold Fusion. That's what Klashe was trying to get you to do.

Bob, I got your E-mail, sorry to say it didn't work. First off, in order to work with ColdFusion, get ColdFusion studio (preferably v. 4.5 but my friend uses 4.0 at work) You can get a trial version at www.allaire.com (http://www.allaire.com) or you can buy it. I'm not sure of the price. ColdFusion is a server side language which uses SQL. I'm not sure if a lot of free web page providers support this so I don't think it will do you any good if you just want to put up a homepage on Angelfire.com or something. However, if you work as a web designer for a company, or have a compatible server, ColdFusion is the way to go! It's very easy to learn (hell, I'm 14 and I'm already learning a lot about it!). A good source to learn more about ColdFusion is it's company's homepage, the already mentioned Allaire. Also, http://hotwired.lycos.com/webmonkey/programming/coldfusion/ has a nice section on ColdFusion, ranging from the basics, like setting up a database, to the more advanced projects, like constructing an online store
and message boards. If you need any more help, feel free to ask. I usually check the forums daily.
