Microsoft is the only brand of VB compiler out there. So buy a copy of VB6 Standard Edition or Professional Edition

hit F5 and your program will run.

to make executables, go to file, and make .exe

You can't do that namgor because the Working Models Edition does not support making EXE's, plus it does not come with MSDN help files.

I am not sure which Working Model Edition you are using, however mine did come with the Packaging and Deployment wizard, which allows me to make .exe files. Only Microsoft makes the VB compilers, which come with VB Standard, or Professional Versions.

I haven't ever heard of a compiler that doesn't let you make an executable file...even if it is VB. Perhaps you forgot to install part of the program or maybe your program is missing an important part that is required to make an executable. I recommend you uninstall and reinstall VB and try again.

In any case, you need to look for warez on a DIFFERENT SITE. I believe Sharky isn't too keen on supporting warezers.

Anything to do with warez is a no-no here at Sharky Forums. http://www.sharkyforums.com/ubb/smile.gif

The Working Models Edition comes with books on learning how to program in VB and is probably free. You don't need to make an EXE in VB to learn how to program.

i know about the warez stuff, though someone might email me with any sites containg the developers model or any other prog i can compile it in.

and i know that i dont need to compile my progs when i'm learning, i just made my first one and thought it'd be nice to keep it in .exe format.
it also might be usefull.

so, take the hint above (hint:sites)
