There's Flashkit http://flashkit.com/

I never managed to learn anything too impressive.

Good sites to look at to get an idea on what to do:

Good luck, give me a link when you get going. http://www.sharkyforums.com/ubb/smile.gif

You mean making websites in Flash?
Well, first of all... forget Flash. What I mean is, it is simply a tool that makes web sites much more enjoyable to visit. The power of flash is the scripting langugae it includes, called ActionScript. You need to learn information architecture, usability, and programming to really use Flash effectively. Spend lots of time in the library reading up on these subjects.
It's a long road, one that I have only really begun after 3 years of Flash. Enjoy.

p.s.>> As a professional Flash dude, I have never found a helpful tutorial or forum on ANY website. Most of those people are newbies, too, and clutter the forums with their inanities. Your best bet is to do the tutorial that is included with the program, read some books, and pick apart the code of the movies at flashkit.com, etc. [though lots of that code is wack]

13kft is right

What kind of sites do you want to learn to make? If you're considering a career in webdesign, then I would say, forget Flash at first and learn some kind of internet database scripting language.

Once you can do stuff like make search engines, use Flash for some fancy visual effects

Are you the kind of person who wants 100% Flash websites?

Flash is hard to do well, I suggest learning some html and scripting first. But you must not forget design. A website cannot look professional without a good design. This takes somewhat of a designer-eye, and some people just don't have that, while many people do to some degree.
