I have been wondering about this for a long time now, and have also attempted several times, but have yet to succeed.

I'm interrested in writing simple programs to change settings within the windows registry, just for a start http://www.sharkyforums.com/ubb/wink.gif

Which would be the easiest and most understandable language to learn? I keep hearing good comments about VB, but it costs money http://www.sharkyforums.com/ubb/frown.gif

I think there is a version of VB called "working model" or somethign like that, which is either free or cheap.

check that out for a while, if you like it....buy VB

VB is very easy for that type of stuff.

Hobbes2112, isn't it the "Control Creation Edition"? I haven't kept up on VB for a couple years, so I could be wrong.
