I've been searching for an entity-relationship diagram tool, that will help me to easily create and change E-R models. So far, I haven't been able to find any FREE ones.

Do you have Microsoft word? I find it to be somewhat useful when mapping out simple database diagrams...
I honestly doubt there is a *free* version of what you're asking for. Good luck though.

Well, you could get mentally unstable by using Word for larger ERD:s, but it is a possibility. About Smartdraw, I just downloaded it, but I started screaming at my computer after ten minutes of use. How you can't change properties for all selected objects and the really screwed up connectors makes my fingers curl.
Thanks for the input, any other ideas?
[ADD:] Also, it doesn't have to be *free*, just anything downloadable, trial versions, whatever. Micrografx Flowcharter was really good, but it expired and I deleted it and now you can't try out the new version, they haven't made it downloadable yet...

You could try this: http://www.metodedata.no/modelator_demo.html
Unfortunately I don't know how this demo version is.
