How do i get a website to change its dimensions depending on what the users monitor resolution is? So i could have the page fill the browser window from resolutions from 640*480 up to 1280*1024?
Many thanks. http://www.sharkyforums.com/ubb/smile.gif

How exactly do you want the web site to "form-fit" these resolutions?
-Do you want to dynamically resize the browser window?
or
-Do you want the content of your page to fill the window regardless of resolution?
#1 is easily done with some JavaScipt.
#2 is easily done by using 100% as table widths.

The latter, i'd like the content of the frame to re-adjust and fill the browser window's size. http://www.sharkyforums.com/ubb/smile.gif
[edit]Woah! I only noticed that you replied as soon as i came into the forums. http://www.sharkyforums.com/ubb/eek.gif

Scuttle, they are correct -- use percentages that add up to 100...
Lets say I need a navigation bar down the left, some spacing, and two data columns... I'd use something like these percentages:
18% 2% 40% 40%
Which makes it expand and shrink with the size of the browser.
