That's pretty much it, What do you guys think the best heatsink (if there is a specific one) is for cooling the hot side of a peltier cooler. I know the thermo engine works really well on cpu's but it looks like the contact serface is pretty small and meant for being optimal to cool the core. Or should i just buck up and get a water cooling rig if i ever get a job and do this? thanks.

Cooling pelts with HSF is possible but doesn't give out much better results than your average of the mill HSF cooling...
I highly recommend you go with water cooling as that is proven to be the best cooling solution for peltiers...
Still if you do not wish to go with water cooling, the Alpha PEP66T is an excellent choice for cooling a peltier...

thanks, I'll look into it. I immagine if i ever get some money and go hard core with it i'll get a really big case and have internal water cooling, but what a pain right? eh, we like pain here at sharkey i supose. http://www.sharkyforums.com/ubb/wink.gif
