If you could download a good solid adventure game sort of like some of Sierra's classic games for $10-$20 would you?
This is just a little marketing thing....if its against the AUP sorry.

If I liked it, I'd probably pay $10 for it...maybe $15 if I really liked it. But there would definitely have to be a freeware or shareware trial version that I could test-play before I purchased it. Even old games are fun to the right people.
The problem is not the cost of the game, though. Most people have a few dollars in change sitting around. The problem is that its such a pain to set up payment. People have to first want the game. Then, they have to trust the company they are buying the game from not to defraud them. They also have to trust them not to sell their personal information to ad companies. Finally, they have to take the time to fill in the info and wait for a reply.
When I get referred to a 20 page document stating their privacy policy, I more often get very annoyed and leave the site then purchase the product. Also, there needs to be some way of ensuring that the company is legitimate. The easiest way to do this is use a well recognized name like Amazon to sell the product. No name companies, although probably perfectly fine to deal with, always give that lingering sense of doubt.
BTW: Which Sierra games were you referring to?

Ya it's called greatest hits. PSX does this. They sell their classics for 15 bucks a pop. Actually it's a variable price but it averages 15. So why couldn't comp games be the same? Well actually.... probly cause might as well download the computer game classic for free, lol.

I can buy virtually every dreamcast game for $10-$20 each.
And if you wait 6 months after they come out, most pc games go down to $19.99.
I just bought Aliens Vs. Predator 2 for $25 at eb used.
Also, Serious Sam was $20
So to sum it up, if it looked and played like an old game, maybe $5 if anything...$10 tops if it was amazingly good.

The game kind of reminds me of Kings Quest and Space Quests games but with the best 2D graphics I have ever seen.

I think old games (5+ years old) should be free...however if for some reason the game is still popular (say hl when it gets to be that old) then they should be still selling the game....but for like $10 in the bargin bins at wal-mart...
