How do I do this? The links work in my posts but not in my sigs. I see in the user profile where it says HTML code is off but its not highlighted so I can't change it. Thanks in advance for your help. :)

You can't change it. The features available are determined by the management.
What do I need to do to get it activated?
There is nothing you can do other than make your request known which you have done by posting this thread.
IMO There is too much of an opportunity for abuse by allowing HTML code in a member's sig. I doubt if HTML will ever be turned on.

That's easy...just put this in your sig
[url=www.badastronomy.com]link name[/url]
the =link name part is optional and is how you use a
name, words, or even images to represent the link. Like my sig

Ah, I see now. Didn't see the distinction between HTML code and vb code. Went to the FAQ about vb code but didn't feel like reading through it all at the time. Thanks for clearing it up.
