Can you still overclock them? im not all that intrested in overclockin it, but it would be useful to know that i can if i decide to later. im planning on buying one real soon btw.

You can still overclock the FSB, the multiplier, however, is locked.
I don't for sure, but they should be able to still hit 2.2Ghz.. at least.
My multiplier isn't locked, at least I can change it in my mobo bios.Quote:

The newer 2500+ are now all locked by AMD... So you can no longer change the multi...Quote:

Yup, pretty everything from week 39 of 2003 and on are locked on all XP chips, not just the 2500+.Quote:
