Great game...I gotta brush up on my skills before I try it out on Live though :)
The graphics are insanely sharp and detailed.
Hey thanks for letting me know! I've never played a Guilty Gear game, but I am an absolute die hard 2d fighting game fan, and for 20 bucks, time to go buy the game!Quote:

More victims :D
WOOT
I had fun beating the #5 weekly ranked guy (as of) last night a few times in a row and got to hear him ***** about being beaten by Zappa. HA HA, stupid n00bs. All the characters in this game are good, its so balanced :D
I only played GG for PSX :o
X2 is a giant leap forward from the original Guilty Gear. Unlike other big name 2d fighting games that try to change the game completely in every iteration, Sammy has just been building upon and enhancing this game in each release, and the result is the most polished, balanced, deep, and fun fighting game ever made.
You have to wonder what somebody was smoking when they named the game:
Guilty Gear X2 Midnight Carnival #Reload
Yes that is the actual full title...now can someone explain what it means? :)
Guilty Gear XX: The Midnight Carnival was the original title. #Reload is the an updated version which fixed a lot of glitches in the game such as infinite combos.
I played GGX on ps2 a while ago, and enjoyed it. However, I haven't really gotten into any fighting games since tekken 3, because I suck at remembering combos :D
Mortal Kombat and 3d fighting games are the ones that force you to remember combos, once you get into the groove, the moves will just flow from you in this game.
I just fired up tekken 4, and it's all starting to come back.
bottom-right, sqare, x, triangle, triangle, x, down, x, x, circle, circle, circle = 101 dmg :D
I might rent GGX2 and see how I like it. I'm busy with burnout3 though.
I just picked it up thanks to this post.
All I need now is Xbox live and I will start to kick your butt!
You dont stand a chance against my Zappa.Quote:

Oh, and after playing about 25 matches, I can conclude that the lag online is rediculous, even when minimal. I can see how a n00b to the game will instantly adapt to the slight lag on an "Excellent" connection, but for someone like me who is a GGX2 freak, its been hard, but I'm slowly getting there. The thing that really gets me is that I cant block at the last second thanks to the tiny bit of lag, rawr!
If its only 20 bucks, i might buy it. I need something good to play on live that isn't a sports game.
