is it wise to use studio monitors for computer speakers?
I sure do! I use Tannoy Reveal Monitors, and also the Tannoy System 800 Studio Monitors on my P.C. Good soundcards are sounding amazing now. :)
I'm about to sell my mm computer speakers to get some nice monitors or speakers along with a receiver. They should blow away any multimedia computer speakers.
