Will a Alpha PAL6035 MFC combined with a YS-Tech 60x60x25 1.4W 20CFM handle a XP1600?
I do not plan to overclocking...
what do you gurus think?

That should cool it very well, since the 6035 is massive when compared to a stock cooler. The 6035 is a bit older cooling technology, but none the less it will cool that CPU very well at stock speeds. Good Luck https://www.sharkyforums.com/images/.../2005/06/6.gifQuote:

not that I don´t trust your judgement, but are you really sure???
We are talking about a 20 CFM fan here...
My thought is: If a Cooler Master EP5-6I31-C (recommended by AMD to 1900+) with a 28 CFM fan will do, this setup should do just aswell? Or am I wrong..?
thanx again for any answers
As I said it will cool the CPU very nicely when running at stock speeds. The 6035 is a good bit larger than any stock cooler, plus it has a copper base. It's just a much better cooler, and much higher quality. The 20Cfm fan will cool it well while being very quiet.Quote:
