Damn! The Pioneer A06, the Liteon 411S, or the LG GSA 4040B?
I can't decide which drive to get, argh...
Anyone got experience with all 3 or any of them?
The absolute highest priority is compatibility with as many types of discs as possible, and compatability to work on a standalone DVD Player. I want to burn Super Video's to the DVD and watch them on my DVD Player.
Thanks.

Then it's not even a matter or choice. The Pioneer takes the top spot here. The new firmware releases would put the Lite-On in the next spot.
As far as compatibility with standalone players, that will be dependent on the type of media that the player will tolerate. What works on one player might not work on another.

Ok I will probably get the Pioneer 106 then. Just the OEM version of the A06.
Does it have comparable medium support to the Plextor 708 model?
