I donno what card was used for that screenshot but I've seen ATI card render a scene - metal pipe with rust and a focused torchlight beam - and lemme tell you it's great. Actually, I saw two screenshots, one by ATI (using PS1.1 to 2.0 or something like that) and another by FX (using PS1.1 and 1.4) The ATI screenshot beats the FX because of this.:)

Pictures don't do it justice. Once you see the realtime reflections in the water and the huge draw distance, you'll be amazed.:)

FarCry has much better gameplay, equal physics, and better graphics than HL2. :D

That screenshot looks a bit better, but I still feel that the trees and mountains etc, look too polygonish.
Agreed the water reflections etc are amazing, but the landscape ruins it.
Heck, Gothic 2 had more convincing landscape than Far Cry.
