Why is the 9800 pro refurbished,was it screwed up and had to be fixed,who knows? I don't mind second hand cards that were just up for sale cause someone upgraded,but who just sends back a 9800 Pro?...

I tried but still don't see the relevance of that analogy, sorry. The 5200's can process dx9 shaders, just not nearly as good as the more expensive cards is all I'm saying.

Well if your link shows a 9600 pro playing at 35 fps at its lowest with the other test with even higher frame rates,what makes you think a much faster 9800 will chug on this game?

Here is Tom,s HL2 test with a a 9600 at 1024x768-32bit without FSAA and Trilinear Filtering and it gets 48fps....

What you do then is for example select XP CPU type and type in 1.5Ghz,then the results are either oced XP1600's or stock speed XP1800s.:)

Are you clueless? They already released the official HL2 bench marks and a 9600pro does play HL2 in full DX9 mode at acceptable frame rates. If AA&AF does not matter and also DX9 does not matter then...

I find people who say that have cards that do not give them much of a choice in using AA&AF if they wanted to or not.;)
