Some mobo required ATX 12V power
Its a 4 pins connector
Not all PSU have 12V 4 pins connector, but i think most of newer psu out there have them now.
If bad parts could be
1. PSU
2. Memory...

1. check for conficts (device manager/during boot up/system tools etc)
2. try a new memory
3. reinstall windows
4. ask you dad:p
