what BIOS revision for your BH7? All the BH7's that I've worked with only went as low as 2 (BIOS 14 and 15)

if your CPU can reach at least 2.4GHz, then a 9600XT would be a decent option

if you can find a non ECC stick that is in 512MB densities using the 64MB chips, yes.
Otherwise, most users will have to go the 32MB route, due to price and availability issues.

Also, I tried glueing it on, but the way the clip is made, it didn't hold...

I would also go for the 900A simply for the fact that it supports a 92mm fan.

Most sticks should use 32 IIRC, as most double sided sticks are of the 512MB variety, meaning that there are 16 chips of 32MB, while single sided RAM is usually...
