no, that's the MP3+. The A2 NX supports up to 7.1 (IIRC). :)
My A2 NX will be here next week, tues-wed, depending on fed-ex. I'll post a review focusing on the functionality of the unit. :)

Well...yeah. The truth about the matter is that the more money you have, the more money you spend. I had plenty, so the Audigy 2 NX is on its way right now. I can't wait to hear that puppy! ...

The problem with that is the lack of players. The map is already huge as is...it doesn't need to be made bigger. What you need is more people playing the game first.

I think I maxed it out. :p

The other guy - you know you could get a 512mb stick and still have dual channel. :) That's why there are 3 slots.
Anyways, my suggestions:
Buffalo tech Pc3200 1 or 2 512mb sticks (depending...

It's pretty much all the same. They all use BH-5/CH-5 (BH-5 being a little better) memory modules. The OC with any BH-5 stick will be about the same, just luck of the draw if you happen to get good...

You'd be spending $8,000,000 on CPUs alone, without any of the other stuff...So for the whole package, the price is probably going to be $40,000,000+ based on just equipment costs (take with bucket...

They're probably comparing a quad Xeon MP server to a single AMD64 in some P4 favoring bench. (Where is my  when i need it!) ;)

Ok...well if you're going with an AMD setup that you will OC, there really is only one mobo that you'd want to get - Abit NF-7S Rev. 2.0
As for the CPU, a AXP 2500+ is your best bang/buck. There...

For the HSF units, I'd pick up a couple of SLK-800s and Smartfan 2s. That combo is excellent.
For case ventilation, I'd put some 30-40 cfm fans, depending on your noise tolerance. Sunon, YS-Tec,...

Hmm...so it's not RAM. It's not graphics. It's not the PSU (rails looking good). That leaves us with 2 options:
1. CPU
2. Mobo
I've never seen a mobo do anything like that though. In my...

Your money would be better spent on a headphone amp. Those do cost a pretty penny...around $250-300 for a good one. But then again, it's a one time investment. :)

I'd try to pick one up on black friday...there's good deals going around then.

There's a little bit of info on it.

Ok...I'll take a serious look at the audigy 2 NX. Before committing though, I'd love to have a review of the unit from someone with first hand experience...I don't want to rely on generalized...
