I use MozillaFirebird 0.6.1 exclusively these days, both on my home and work PCs. Well, almost...need the IE for the Windows Update site.

No. msconfig is just a nice tool that lets you make changes to some of the main Windows config files. I believe you can set it up for Win2k, but it isn't there by default.
