In my new comp I have a Radeon 9600 256mb along with AMD XP 2600 OC'd to 3000. Getting 8636 3dmarks in 2001, what gives? Have DX 9.

Figured it out! A single WD hard drive requires you have no jumpers, I took it off and it works great, woohoo.

Well now I fear that I got a bunk hard drive because it won't work anymore. It detects the hard drive at startup, but says there is no hard drive when it tries to start windows.

Just put together a new comp...Epox 8RDA3G with 2600 Barton. When I turn it on the BIOS flies right to Detecting IDE Drives...then hangs for about 25 seconds, detects my dvd burner, cd rom and hard...
