This is what I would do, personally:
1. Back up anything you can't stand to lose.
2. Defrag that Fat32 drive.
3. Use FDISK to repartition the Fat32 drive so that you have a least 10 gigs...

You know you can d/l and run Python on your Windows box, yes?
Just that dual boot setups can be tricky, and I don't want to see you erase all your stuff. Make a back up of the important stuff...

I think that's what he's refering too, intelligent hub is just another name for switch. Before a lot of this equipment became essentially commodity items, there were a lot of different marketing...

Hmm, well there's either something on your computer telling the NIC to run at 10Mbps, or the problem is external.
I looked around a bit on my Win2k system and I didn't see any way in software to...

Oh, MentalRay is a rendering package, I thought it was some DX development package. MentalRay will only do pre-rendered cut scenes, not FPS games. Maybe it'll do TV or movie quality CG too.
We're...

I'd still like to see an example. I believe what they are doing is using C or C++ to link to, and then the C/C++ calls Cg for you.
Just 'cause the marketing drivel says something doesn't make it...

None that I've ever seen. If you'd like to post an example, I'd be happy to learn something new.
I dug through some of the Cg books I have and found the basic DX and OpenGL calls in the appendix....

No, I'm serious, shaders aren't written in C++. They are seperate programs with a seperate language. After you write the shader, you can manipulate the shader in any language, just as you can...
-
Shaders like HLSL also define the position of vertices as well as color. Put those two together and you basically can do anything at all.
Shaders are also pretty darn implementation specific. ...

Flipping through books is a great way to see which books might be best for you. I do it all the time.
I found C++ How to Program by Deitel and Deitel pretty good. It doesn't cover everything but...

Hmm, hard to answer. C is a very capable systems programming language, but it gives you the basics but little else. A matrix library could be implemented, but not as you suggest.
First, C cannot...

So your DSL modem is built into the router? That's too bad because having a seperate modem is great for testing. Perhaps you could borrow a friends...?
Have you tried just calling your ISP tech...

Now THAT'S cool. I didn't know they made routers with a built in print server. If it's a parallel printer, definately go with Skydog's idea.
P.S. The have USB models too.

Get a 5 port (or more) DSL router, and then configure one of the computers as a print server for the printer. I guess you could look at wireless, but I think wireless is slower, and kinda $$. Go...

I've never used one of those, but some web searches might turn up information.

It looks like you might need a program call Cisco Commander...
