You can try checking in the BIOS, the memory settings.
Another way would be to check how much memory bandwidth you are getting in a memory benchmark. Like Sandra or cachemem.

They used XMS3500 with the 3.06 and XMS3000 for the others. I think they ran the memory at PC2700 so it really doesn't matter what the memory is spec'd to, but rather what the memory was run at.

100% Acetone. You can get it at a hardware store , but I got mine at walmart in the Nail polish remover section. Acetone is far superior to rubbing alcohol.
