  5. I've had the cd-rw for like 3-4 years and i don't...

    I've had the cd-rw for like 3-4 years and i don't remember DMA option being there... I could be wrong... I've not changed any hardware... the only thing I did was bump the RAM up from 48MB to 96MB...

    It does NOT give a DMA checkbox for the CDRW... there is for the CDROM on the same system, but not the CDRW.

    It went erratic on a spindle of CDRs that were burning fine and then all the sudden they weren't... I had tried a good CD that always used to work from a few I had left (that I used for music CDs)...
