I just got a p4 1.7ghz and 512rd ram system but I'm still using my old 64mb geforce 2mx 400 agp...

I recently bought a asus p4t 1.7ghz p4 and 512mb rdram as a base for my new comp. unfortunately, the PoS Asus P4T mobo didnt work due my older bios so I exchanged it for a generic Intel 850gb board....

Doh just played around with the dip switches...no luck, tried overclocking, underclocking, regular settings, resetting cmos...so my best bet now would be to mail the mobo/cpu back to the dealer huh?...

so to set the switches for a 1.7ghz cpu it'd be 100 x 17, right?
