If you're going to OC a Barton, get a 2500+. It's cheaper and they can generally be pushed just as far as a 3200+ Barton, mainly because the K7's have been pushed about as far as they will go. You...

I have my entire system back at stock speeds temporarily (different poblem I'm trying to solve), so it's not a case of the drivers not working with an OC'ed GPU. Still haven't had a chance to...

I'm at the same point, wanting to build a new comp but not really NEEDING to. I decided to wait until early next year when PCI Express is out and supported by MB and GPU manufacturers. I'm also...

Looks good to me, all those parts are high quality. I'd use a Linksys router rather than a Dell, but that's just personal preferance.

"loss of terrain textures"
That's sums up the majority of the problems I'm having. Haven't had a chance to revert back to 3.7's yet, but I never had a problem with them before. Now if I can...

I've been using a 9700 Pro with an A7N8X mobo for about 6 months. Never had a hardware related problem.

Is anyone else having problems with the latest ATI drivers? My 3D images are loading slow and look kinda lame, plus I'm getting weird lock-ups and game crashes that I've never had before. The only...

Oh yeah, duh :p . It's been awhile since I installed XP, thanks for waking me up.

I was kinda thinking the same thing myself. There isn't a PCI bus in existance that can handle massive amounts of data like that, so they better get friendly with motherboard manufacturers and...

Ah, I overlooked the part about your memory. In that case, if you can get 180 out of it, I'd say your doing pretty well.

This sounds WAAAAAY too good to be true, especially their time-line, but it will certainly be interesting to see what (if anything) comes of it.

Does that motherboard have a specific list of acceptable RAM that will work with it? If not, then your choice should work fine. I don't recall anyone ever having issues with Corsair and Intel...

Personally, I think Corsair is just as good, and usually not as expensive. Also, regardless of manufacturer, the "matched sets" of RAM sticks are a rip-off, just get two seperately and match them...
